Yes, basic swimming skills are required for diving. You should be comfortable in the water and able to swim at least 200 meters and float/tread water for 10 minutes. This is a safety requirement for all diving certification courses.

For our Discover Scuba Diving experience, the minimum age is 10 years. For Open Water certification, the minimum age is 10 years for Junior Open Water Diver (with restrictions) and 15 years for full Open Water Diver certification.

No, all necessary diving equipment is included in our course and dive packages. We provide high-quality, well-maintained gear including wetsuits, BCDs, regulators, tanks, and weights. You may want to bring your own mask, snorkel, and fins if you have them, but these are also provided.

The Open Water Diver course typically takes 3-4 days to complete. This includes knowledge development sessions, confined water training, and four open water dives. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your vacation plans.

The main diving season in Ibiza runs from April to October, with the warmest water temperatures (up to 26°C) in July and August. Winter diving (November to March) may require thicker wetsuits as water temperatures can drop to around 14-16°C.
